CONTEXT

Problem

Young travelers aged 23-35 crave an engaging and immersive way to discover new destinations but often struggle to find a travel magazine that truly transports them to the places they dream of visiting. Many publications focus on generic travel advice rather than storytelling that evokes emotions, making it difficult for readers to feel connected to the experiences being shared. Without a strong visual and narrative journey, the excitement of travel planning can feel distant rather than inspiring.

Outcome

Xscape Magazine bridges this gap by offering a visually captivating and emotionally engaging travel experience. Through breathtaking imagery, rich storytelling, and a design that reflects the essence of each destination, readers are transported to stunning locations around the world. The magazine creates a sense of warmth, adventure, and escapism, inspiring young travelers to turn their dreams into reality.

RESEARCH

Understanding the Name

“Xscape” refers to breaking free of confinement or control and wanting to escape from your everyday life. The “X” signifies the place the traveller intends to visit (“X marks the spot”). This magazine should make the reader feel like, they are being transported to the place when looking at every page.
